Purpose: Add new key

 

Using: Lonsdor K518S

 

Procedure: How to use Lonsdor K518S to add new key for 2005 Ford Focus

 

It's very simple to use Lonsdor, you see these are function menu, we're just doing the key today.

 

Insert the original key into the ignition and turn the ignition on, the flashing will go solid and then go out that shows the system is working.

 

Insert the new key that has been cut already into the ignition, you see that the flashing light goes just flash basically, so it's not programmed yet.

 

We go to Lonsdor K518S menu, tap "Immobilization"

-> search Ford

-> China (no USA and Europe option), but it does work

-> Focus -> Classic Ford -> Type 2

-> Immobilizer

-> Add key

-> Downloading application...

-> Connect device OBD test cable with vehicle OBD port, switch ignition ON.

->Communication connecting, please wait...

-> Please insert the new key to be programmed. Note: It needs two right keys to start vehicle.

->Communication connecting, please wait...

-> Identified number of programmed keys in cars:2

-> Programming, please wait...

-> Programming complete, successfully programmed key count(2).

 

Pull out the new key from the ignition and insert it again into the ignition, all right the light goes solid and goes out, so that's programmed.

And go to check another one key, so its light goes solid and goes out, they both work.

 

So when it says keys programmed too it must have meant the new key count will be too, so there must have just been this one key programmed.

 

Question: to program the remote key? in the same procedure?

The remote is programmed manually by turning the ignition on and off 8 times until you hear a chime then pressing any button on the key fob buttons. Once this is done you'll hear another chime Then that's the remote programmed

 

Question: why China model??so it can't do most of the Ford???

I can do most of Ford as you can see from the list on the tool

You have to select China but this works on Europe or American cars too. It just doesn't list the other parts of the world. But it works. This was done on a UK Spec Ford.

I have Kess Ktag clone now and it only support by open ecu at bench.

pcmflash but by original its very fair in price. with scanmatic 2 and modul 71 you can also works without need open ecu.

I have a Mercedes w212 year 2012, need to correct mileage to EIS with CGDI MB, can anybody explain me how to correct mileage to EIS?

 

How to do:

Just backup the data, and follow the on-screen instruction to do.

 

Quick "How-to" guide:

1. Click on "Read Mileage" to obtain the dashboard number, mileage value, gateway number, EIS mileage.

 

2. The writing process may differ depends on different dashboard types, the writing process will change the mileage value.

 

3. When it comes to writing gateway blocking appliances, Be sure to backup the flash and EE of the gateway first.

 

4. Make sure the computer and car is working when writing the gateway blocking appliance. It is recommended that the car be powered separately.

 

5. If the operation is interrupted, please power off the car or gateway.

 

6. Mileage repair is only used for testing and repair of the car, please follow local laws.

 

Note:

To use CGDI MB to reset Mercedes w212 2012 mileage, you need extra Mileage Correction and Gateway Authorization.

Surprisingly, VXDIAG MB Star Benz C6 (OEM) with Xentry 09/2019 software is able to do DPF Regeneration perfectly, which does a good job as well as one original machine, and wins one 1000usd OBD2 scan tool in the market.

 

How does DPF Regeneration work?

DPF Regeneration menu lets you perform the DPF cleaning to clear the blockage through

continuous burning of the particulates captured in the DPF filter. Which will avoid the filter being blocked by ash, then the owner has to replace the new diesel particulate filter (worth 1000usd -200usd)

 

How to use Benz C6 and Xenrtry 09/2019 to do DPF Regeneration?

With this machine, just follow the on-screen instruction to do, soon DPF regeneration will be completed. After complete, all the data will be low value in green color.

 

For your information, what I used is BEZN C6 OEM DOIP VCI + Xentry 09/2019 software, they are made by Allscanner VXDIAG Company.

I have no VXDIAG C6 MB Star C6, so I have no idea if it is working DPF too, although the Allscanner Engineer claim yes.
