How to use Autek IKey820 OBD key programmer

Part 1: Autek IKey820 key programmer coverage and functions

Turn on Autek IKey820, come to the menu options: key programmer, settings, activate, about.

Choose ” key programmer”, then car model i.e “Audi”.

Did a user experience survey and found many users feedback they use VVDI MB tool to program key for old Mercedes Benz models successfully. By obd or not? Go on reading.

Here are the results:

1 . W639 worked perfect 2008 and 2009

 

  1. I tested vvdi mb with W203 work perfect, year: 2001, 2003 & 2004

but not by OBD , Only by IR. The CGDI MB claims to be able to be done via OBD (For example: W203 with W209 EZS all keys lost, done in the car about 70mn: Successful.)

 

  1. W210 1998 year CLK all key lost power adapter 17min boom 😉 password calculation perfect.

 

  1. 2004 W639 all keys lost. Used VVDI PROG to get dump and VVDI MB for key program.

PS: If you are looking for cheaper option: CG-Pro and CG-MB can do the same job.

 

  1. Never had any fails read with prog and calculate with mb prog.

 

  1. Mb tool is always on point. it has never failed. ts a great tool.

 

  1. I make key on w210 and 203 before 2005 read eis on PIN OUT OR DESSOLDER mcu

 

  1. Read password on EIS W169 2009 FAILED. Must read it on pin out or vvdi prog adapter.

Some BMW F series with FEM / BDC Immobilizer system has higher or lower firmware version, the user will get message "21E1 FEM BDC version does not support, please upgrade FEM BDC first " when using CGDI BMW to program key via OBD. then many users tend to think their FEM/BDC is not supported by CGDI BMW and miss the chance to earn money. In the following parts, I will show you how to solve this problem.

 
Solution provided by obdexpress.co.uk engineer:
1. Ensure the BMW has correct voltage, plug CGDI BMW to the OBD2 port of to BMW.

 

 
2. Click on "FEM / BDC key Match", you may get message "FEM/BDC version is not supported, please upgrade FEM/BDC first".




 

 
3. Turn on the ignition switch, open the door, click on "F /G series program".

 

 
Choose "2 . FEM _Body", then "Begin Program".



















 

 
4. Turn on the ignition switch, open the door, click on "F /G series coding".

 

 


 
Choose "2 . FEM _Body", then "Coding".

 

 
5．Get prompt that all are fine, follow the on-screen message to operate.

Open the VVDI Key Tool APP on your Phone – Select ID 48 (96) Bits cloning.

Switch ignition on -Original key.

1. Open the Box
I have Xtool Anyscan A30 adapter, specification sheet, certification and an extension cable.


 

 

 
2. With a iPhone, open Apple store to search "xtool anyscan".


 

 

 
3. Next is to register an account and activate the Anyscan A30.
The activation page will pop up when you open the APP.
Firstly enter the activation code wrote in the certification, there are 6 digit of letters and figures letters must be capitalized.
The serial number is at the back of the machine.
Then setup your user name and email account (It must be a real email address you use it too).

 

 
4. Next is to download the diagnostic software to the APP of iPhone not contain the software, we need to activate and finish updating all the downloaded software. The software is large, please wait to download.
