Note that HTT-WIN is updated to 09.2018 Mercedes software disk. Software released in 2017 and 2018 doesn’t come with HTT-WIN. But now, it comes again!
On a side note, Dell D630 is second-hand but 100% functional - no worries!

Error: have now installed it on my recently acquired Dell 630. Everything installed well, however when I get to the point of using it and it automatically goes to use HHT(as my car is a 1993 model)it says"diagnostic connector is being initialised" however then it says"com port assigned! close other use!"
Solution: go to the windows system menu in control panel and under the harware section look at the com port assignmennts and make sure the com port you designated isn't already assigned to something else.
also, does the dell630 have a dedicated RS232 com port or are you using a usb/pcmcia/cardbus to RS232 converter.

IMMO Functions: OtoSys IM100 + UP400 = OtoSys IM600

This is for those need a AURO Otosys for key programming only, but don’t need auto diagnostics.
Confirmed! OtoSys 100 will be able to do the same key programming as im600
About same, but if you need to do Mercedes-Benz, you need to buy a UP400 programmer
IM100+UP400 will have the same immo functions as IM600
With the up400 apart from the Mercedes key programming, your Otosys IM100 will have features like bmw cas4 key learning, 2015-2018 Land Rover&Jaguar Key Writing, Volvo Smart Key Learning
Most require eeprom work!
Otosys IM100 will work like Auro IM600 for immobilizer features and read PIN/CS from AUDI Q5/A4/A5 2015-2017 and learn keys to Mercedes-Benz

... just observe the pcb and random choose some parts on Kess V2 red board , then search them on tme / farnell / etc and also search for the same part on alibaba or similar china site. you will see different markings , labels of the clone parts .... and .... prices
but you already know that , I`m sure ...

Edit to update: just search for the parts I posted , fake Murata logo , fake ST logo , fake Texas Instruments logo.
mate , please feel free to send one of those parts via post mail to the original producer and you will have the right answer....
... as with all clones from opcom to ktag I don`t trust nobody and when possible I replace all parts with good parts from a good brand and trusted part supplier trying to minimize potential problems.
you defend the low cost parts saying also that those parts are not illegal ...
.... how about the clones build from these parts? are they legal?
on the other hand just do an firmware upgrade on this , and you will see how genuine is ....
and the genuine unit cost 10 euros ... (more then the whole cinese opcom , factory price is 2$ if you buy more. they can put your name on the IC , no problem)

THINGS NOT TO DO
DO NOT UPDATE WINDOWS XP IN ANYWAY. THERE ARE NO NEW UPDATES FOR XP.LEAVE IT AS
IT IS.
UNZIPPING THE IMAGE FILE
Step 1. Go to File Explorer and Copy the .rar Files to your Hard Drive. .
Step 4. Click on “Open” and select The file on the Hard Drive ending in
part01.rar. The other rar files will be included in the extract so no need to
individually extract them. Now Select extract and then select a folder where
you want to put the image file ie C:Elsawin or D:Elsawin. Click OK.
Step 5. Once the image file is extracted, You can delete the .rar files from
the folder.
Installing VirtualBox and Setting Up An Image File.
Step 1. Run the VirtualBox.exe on The Disc. This will install
VirtualBox to your Hard drive. Now restart your computer.
Step 2. Now start VirtualBox. Click On New. Select a name for your Image File
ie Elsawin Audi. Change “Version” to Windows XP (32bit). Click Next
Step 3. You now have a Window asking you to specify the amount of RAM. I would
give it 50% ie you have 4gb give it 2gb of RAM.Click Next.
Step 4. You have a Hard Drive Window Now. Choose “Use an existing Virtual Hard
Disk file”. Now click on the Folder on your right and choose the file
that you unzipped from the disc/s or USB Stick. It will be in C:elsawin
if you used that folder name.
Step 5. Click On Create. Now a entry “Elsawin Audi” will appear on your Left.
Now Click on the System Tab and then click on Processor. If you have 4
cores
select 2 and enable PAE/NX and press OK. Now Double Click On the “Elsa
Audi” and Once you get to the Desktop, Double Click On the
Elsawin Icon.
Step 6. You Will be asked for a Username and Password. Both are admin. That is
you up and running ready to search for info on Elsawin.
